Who we are?

Neocrop Technologies is a bioTech Start-up, created to modernize traditional breeding programs. We are committed to contributing to the development of new seeds in record time, creating the crops of the future: more resilient to climate change, which improves food yield without increasing the agricultural area; more environmentally friendly; and more nutritious.
This is achieved by combining innovative skills and ideas from various disciplines. Our expert team uses pioneering gene editing techniques, speed-breeding, proprietary candidate gene selection software, molecular markers and bioinformatics analysis to accelerate the slow cycles of conventional breeding.

Our Stamp

Crops of social importance

We work improving wheat, oats, lupine and potatoes, and crops that cover more than 65% of the Chilean agricultural surface. We are also innovating in native fruit trees such as Maqui (Aristotelia chilensis).

Collaboration is our focus

We are a company where collaboration is a pillar of our strategy, building partnerships beyond our borders, and providing bio-solutions to industries beyond agriculture.

Big challenges

Global agriculture faces important challenges and we seek to be part of the solution from Latin America, one of the main suppliers of food in the world.
